Hong Kong located in southeastern China, was former British colony and became a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China on 1997, under the principle of 'One Country, Two Systems'. This arrangement allows Hong Kong to enjoy a high degree of autonomy.


Hong Kong is made up of four parts: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories and the Outlying Islands and covers an area of 1,106.34 square kilometers. By end of 2018, the total population is about 7.4825 million. The prosperous Island is the center of economy, politics, entertainment and shopping with its southern part noted for sea bays. Kowloon is another flourishing part where Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok are the most popular places. The New Territories and Outlying Islands are ideal places to experience a relax and natural holiday.
