The greatest excavation Shaanxi include the Lantian Man 2.12 million years ago, the 6,000-year-old Banpo Village of the primitive Yangshao Culture, and the ‘Eight World Wonder’—Terracotta Warriors and Horses of the First Qin Emperor. From the 11th century their capitals in this province, with a span of 1,500 years, the major ones are the Zhou, the Qin, the Han, the Sui and the Tang.
