Guilin

Guilin is lying in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and within the subtropical region. Guilin prefecture covers an area of 27.800 square kilometers with a population of 5.4 million.

Guilin has a history more than 2000 years. In 214B.C, Qin Shihuang established three prefectures of Guilin, Xiang and Nanhai. Guilin was the first time to appear in history，which became the seat of prefecture. Guilin has been the political, economic and cultural center of Guangxi since the Northern Song Dynasty.

Guilin is one of China's most famous places of historic interest and scenic beauty. Its scenery enjoys the fame of "the finest under the Heaven". You can enjoy Lijiang River on the boat, see a reflection of the Water Moon Cave of the Elephant Trunk Hill on the water and enjoy the harmonious mixture of the Chinese and Western cultures in Yangshuo.
