China Education Tour (10N/11D)

Arrival in Beijing, meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel, in the afternoon visit the Olympic Green Area Bird Nest and Water Cube (here might be closed due to government issue without notice). 

4 nights at Penta Hotel Beijing or similar one

 

Morning visit to the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City (closed on Monday), where used to be the imperial palace for the emperors and their families in mid-Ming and Qing Dynasties; in the afternoon enjoy a Hutong Tour with a Rickshaw Ride included, where you will havean opportunity to Visit a Local  Family, and learn how to Make Paper-Cutting etc.. Everning enjoy Kongfu Show.

 

 

 

Early morning tour to the Temple of Heaven and enjoy a Taiji practice with the locals in the park; after lunch, continue your trip to the Summer Palace, which is a very large park and used to be an imperial garden in the old time. If weather permits, a short Boat Ride cross the Kumming Lake can be arranged.

 

Today, you will leave the hotel early in the morning and go to visit the world renowned Mutianyu Great Wall, which is 73km far from the city center,then transfer back to the city in the late afternoon.

 

Morning take high-speed train to Xi'an (appr. 5 hours), upon arrival, pay a visit to the Ancient City Wall with a Cycling Tour included on the wall before transferring to the hotel.

3 nights at Grand Mercure Hotel or similar one

 

Morning tour to the Terracotta Warriors & Horses, return tothe city and have a Cooking Class before visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Evening enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show with Dumpling Dinner. 

 

 

 

Morning start from the hotel and transfer to Anwu Primary School in Jingyang county (appr. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, visit a Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic where you can learn something about the basic medical treatment for the farmers who live in the countryside; followed by a visit to the typical Cave Dewlling House in which the local farmers used to live; then continue your trip to a Dairy Farm to taste some yoghurt and experience how the locals treat their milk cows. Followed by a tour to the Vegetable Growing Base  where plenty of organic food can be found, all the vegetables for lunch are coming from this base. In the late afternoon, transfer back to the city.

 

 

 

Morning fly to Shanghai (appr. 2 hours), upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for a fresh up. Evening enjoy an hour Cruise on Huangpu River, afterwards, enjoy a stroll along the Bund.  

3 nights at Sunrise on the Bund Shanghai or similar one

 

Tour of the Jade Buddha Temple, the Yuyuan Garden and its nearby bazaars, lunch in a local restaurant; in the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum (Closed on Monday) and the Nanjing Road.

 

 

 

Morning meet at the hotel lobby and transfer to the Disneyland Shanghai (the entrance fee of Disneyland is under clients own arrangement, with no lunch and dinner included, with no guide assistant inside the park). In the evening, meet at the entrance of the park and transfer back to your hotel.

 

Transfer to airport for a flight to your onward destination.
