Jilin Province, abbreviated as "Ji", is a provincial-level administrative region of the People's Republic of China, with its capital in Changchun. Jilin Province is located in the central part of Northeast China, bordering Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, and Heilongjiang, and sharing borders with Russia and North Korea, situated at the geographical center of Northeast Asia. As of the end of 2019, the total population of Jilin Province was 26.9073 million. Changbai Mountain, the ancient sites of Goguryeo, Xianghai, the Fangchuan Scenic Area, the Puppet Manchurian Palace, the rime of Songhua Lake (Jilin), Jingyuetan, and the winter fishing at Chagan Lake have stood out among many A-level scenic spots in Jilin Province, earning the title of "Eight Scenic Spots of Jilin."
