Chongqing West Station, located in the Shapingba District of Chongqing, China, is the largest passenger transport hub system in western China. It primarily focuses on railways and integrates various transportation modes such as long-distance buses, public transport, and rail transit into a comprehensive transportation hub. It is one of the four train stations in Chongqing. It is 40 kilometers from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, 17 kilometers from Chongqing North Station, and 12 kilometers from Chongqing Railway Station. Construction of Chongqing West Station began in December 2014. The first phase was completed and put into operation on January 25, 2018. As of January 2018, the station has a building area of approximately 120,000 square meters, a total height of 38.40 meters, and is equipped with 15 platforms and 31 lines; it is designed to handle approximately 381 pairs of trains per day, with an annual passenger flow capacity of 42.18 million.
