The Yang's Ancestral Temple

The Yang's Ancestral Temple is located in the northeast of Fenghuang Ancient Town. It build in the 16th year of daoguang (1836). Yang's Ancestral Temple is one of the 24 Ancestral Temples in Fenghuang County, it is also the only one in the ancient wooden structures in courtyard, with up and down two floors, covers an area of 770 square meters. The whole construction project is fine, with distinct national characteristics and high architectural artistic value. Because this ancestral hall is the Yang family which lives here to raise money to set up, then becomes the place where the patriarch deals with all the family size affairs and disputes. The visiting of this Ancestral Temple is usually arranged arranged together with Fenghuang Ancient Town as a one-day tour.
