The Fenghuang Hongqiao

The Fenghuang Hongqiao is located near Hongqiao middle road, fenghuang county, lies across the Tuo Jiang River. The bridge has three arches, the height from the river surface to the top of the bridge compares a couple of floors. The Wind and Rain Tower rises with its magnificence and beauty. This is actually an overlapping landscape. Hongqiao was built in the early years of Hongwu Ming dynasty, the local people said that the bridge cut off is a dragon neck, make a dragon head, in order to destroy feng shui, let the town can not come out of any emperor. Of course, these are just the legends left by the older generation, whatever it is true or false, the bridge is there since ancient times. Hongqiao Tours are usually arranged together with Fenghuang Ancient Town and Tuo Jiang River as a one-day tour.
