The Fenghuang Ancient Town

The Fenghuang Ancient Town is a small county town located in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Minorities Autonomous Region where is an area of outstanding natural beauty where mountains, water and blue skies prevail.  It is also named the Phoenix Town and it was described as the most beautiful town in China by the Zelanian writer Louis Aileen.The town is the only path between Huahua, Jishou and Tongren. It is a must-visit place to enjoy the real amorous feelings of the west part of Hunan province. All visitors will be impressed by its air of mystery, elegance and primitive simplicity. The scenic spots inside the Fenghuang Ancient Town remain attracting the whole year, but the best time to visit is July to September, when the weather is pleasant. 1-2 days visiting will be suggested.
