Yangshuo West Street, located in the center of Yangshuo Ancient Town, is about 8 meters wide and nearly 800 meters long, slightly oriented east-west, extending from Binjiang Road in the east to Pantao Road in the west, intersecting with Xianqian Street and Chengzhong Road in the middle. It is a pedestrian street in Yangshuo County, Guilin City. With a history of over 1400 years, it is the oldest and most prosperous street in Yangshuo, as well as one of the important tourist attractions in Yangshuo. The ancient buildings such as the Ming City Wall, stone inscriptions, ancient temples, pavilions, former residences of celebrities, and memorial halls are all well-preserved. In the early 1970s, Yangshuo opened up to the outside world, and Western tourists discovered West Street. At the same time, they showed great interest in the local simple and elegant residences, traditional culture, and folk customs. Since then, the number of foreign tourists visiting West Street for sightseeing and leisure has been increasing every year. Today, West Street has become a "foreigners' street" where Chinese and Western cultures blend, a "global village" that transcends geographical boundaries, and a large-scale "language corner." Here, you can find a small shop, away from computers and mobile phones, order a cup of coffee or Chinese tea, and enjoy a moment of tranquility, where you will understand the true meaning of life.
