Day 1 Beijing Arrival (No Meal)

Arrival in Beijing, meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel, enjoy a leisure time in the afternoon.

Day 2 Beijing (B/L)

Morning visit to the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City (closed on Monday), where used to be the Chinese imperial palace for the emperors and their families in mid-Ming and Qing Dynasties, after lunch, visit the Summer Palace, an imperial garden in the old time.

Day 3 Beijing (B/L)

Early morning tour to the Temple of Heaven and enjoy a Taiji practice with the locals in the park, then continue your trip to the world famous Mutianyu Great Wall, which is 73km far from the city center, then back to the city in the late afternoon.

Day 4 Beijing-Xian by Train (B)

Morning take a high-speed train to Xi’an (appr. 5 hours), upon arrival, visit the Grand Mosque at Muslim Quarter, it remains an outstanding Chinese re-interpretation of an Islamic place of worship, then transfer to your hotel.

2 nights at Sofitel Hotel Xi’an or similar one

Day 5 Xian (B/L/D)

Morning tour of the Terracotta Warriors & Horses, which is located about 35km east of Xi'an, after lunch, return to the city and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the few remaining Buddhist pagodas from the Tang dynasty. Evening enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show with Dumpling Dinner.

Day 6 Xi'an-Shanghai by flight (B)

Morning take a flight to Shanghai (appr. 2 hours), upon arrival, pay a visit to the Yuyuan Garden and its nearby bazaars, followed by an hour Cruise on Huangpujiang River, afterwards enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Bund.

Day 7 Shanghai (B)

Morning tour to a nearby little town - Zhujiajiao Water Town to enjoy a short boat ride along the zigzag rivers and bridges if weather permits. It is the nearest ancient water town from Shanghai, with a history of more than 1,700 years, and then return to the city for a relaxing time on the Nanjing Road.

Day 8 Shanghai-Huangshan (B/L)

Morning take a high-speed train to Huangshan (appr. 3.5 hours), walking tour of the Tunxi Ancient Town, located in the central district of Huangshan City, it has a stone pedestrian street lined with old shops and restaurants in restored buildings, some originally dating back to the Song Dynasty and all in the traditional style of the region's Huizhou culture; besides, its street once was elected as one of "Ten Historic and Cultural Street of China" in 2009.

Day 9 Huangshan (B/L/D)

Morning tour to one of the most famous mountains in China, commonly known as Yellow Mountain. The mountain peaks rising out of a sea of clouds give people an impression that the mountain is an island floating over the clouds. Take the cable-car up to North Sea Scenic Area, which is famous for marvelous precipitous peaks, beautiful giant pine trees and far-reaching vision. Where you will have the opportunity to visit Lion Peak, Flower-Scattering Valley and Cloud-Dispelling Pavilion, then down the mountain by a cable car and transfer to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 10 Huangshan-Shanghai (B/L)

Morning pay a visit to Xidi Ancient Village and Hongcun Villages, known for its beautiful wood carvings and well-preserved traditional buildings. Afterwards, take a high-speed train back to Shanghai (appr. 3 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
