The Jinli Street

The Jinli Street is located in the city center of Chengdu, in the east of the Wuhou Memorial Temple. It is one of the oldest commercial streets in China, and is the most famous street in city center of Chengdu. As the must-see attraction, Jinli Street is a great place to experience the authentic Chengdu culture, customs, and folk arts. As one of the most flourishing commercial streets, this street had had earned great reputation around the whole country during the period of Qin, West Han and Three Kingdoms. The Jinli Street is about 550 meters long. Along the street, there are lining ancient architectures including residences, teahouses etc. These architectures are built on the Chinese traditional styles of the Qing Dynasty. There are restaurants and stalls where a wonderful place you can taste delicious Sichuan food and local snacks.
