Day 1 Beijing Arrival (No Meal)

Arrival in Beijing, meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel, enjoy a leisure time in the afternoon.

3 nights at Regent Hotel Beijing or similar one

Day 2 Beijing (B/L)

Morning visit to the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City (closed on Monday), where used to be the Chinese imperial palace for the emperors and their families in mid-Ming and Qing Dynasties, after lunch, visit the Summer Palace, an imperial garden in the old time.

Day 3 Beijing (B/L)

Early morning tour to the Temple of Heaven and enjoy a Taiji practice with the locals in the park, then continue your trip to the world famous Mutianyu Great Wall, which is 73km far from the city center, then back to the city in the late afternoon.

Day 4 Beijing-Xian by Train (B)

Morning take a high-speed train to Xi’an (appr. 5 hours), upon arrival, visit the Grand Mosque at Muslim Quarter, it remains an outstanding Chinese re-interpretation of an Islamic place of worship, then transfer to your hotel.

2 nights at Sofitel Hotel Xi’an or similar one

Day 5 Xian (B/L/D)

Morning tour of the Terracotta Warriors & Horses, which is located about 35km east of Xi'an, after lunch, return to the city and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the few remaining Buddhist pagodas from the Tang dynasty. Evening enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show with Dumpling Dinner.

Day 6 Xi'an-Zhangjiajie (B/L)

Morning visit the Ancient City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved ancient city walls of China, after lunch, fly to Zhangjiajie (appr. 1.5 hours), upon arrival, transfer to hotel near the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

Day 7 Zhangjiajie(B/L/D)

Today visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, firstly take the cable car to the top of the Yellow Stone Village, which consists of several thousand quartz sandstone peaks rising abruptly from the ground; later, explore the beautiful and famous Golden Whip Stream, which covers a distance of 7.5km winding across mountains and valleys.

Day 8 Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)

Morning pay a visit to the Tianzi Mountain, the king of the peak forest, which gives a sense of mystery as if in fairy land; after lunch in a local restaurant, continue your tour to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, situated in the north of Zhangjaijie National Forest Park, it has the prototype of the Hallelujah Mountain in the film Avatar; a multitude of peaks arise from the deep valley making their appearance all of a sudden; tour ends with a visit to the Ten-Mile Gallery alongside a stream, peaks on both sides of the valley forming its natural sculptures.

Day 9 Zhangjaijie-Fenghuang(B/L/D)

Morning transfer to Zhangjiajie city and then take the world’s longest cable car to the Tianmen Mountain to enjoy the breathtaking “Glass Skywalk”. Afterwards, transfer to the Fenghuang, also known as ‘Phoenix Ancient Town’ (appr. 4 hours), upon arrival, transfer to a hotel located inside the Ancient Town.

Day 10 Fenghuang (B/L)

The Fenghuang Ancient Town, built up in Qing Dynasty, is still kept in its original appearance with 300 years passed. The stone streets, stilted houses,and the Miao ethnic nationality are the typical scenes there. The tour includes the Hongqiao Art Bridge, the East Gate Tower - Shen Congwen's Former Residence, and Yang's Ancestral Temple, then take a Boat Tour in Tuojiang River to enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery.

Day 11 Fenghuang-Changsha by train/Changsha-Shanghai by flight (B/L)

Morning transfer to Huaihua railway station for a high-speed train to Changsha (appr. 1.5 hour), where you will take an afternoon flight to Shanghai (appr. 2 hours), upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

2 nights at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai or similar one

Day 12 Shanghai (B/L)

Tour of the Jade Buddha Temple, the Yuyuan Garden and its nearby bazaars, lunch in a local restaurant, then take an hour Cruise on Huangpujiang River, followed by a relaxing stroll along the Bund and the Nanjing Road.
