The Tangmo Village

Located at the foot of Mount Huangshan, Tangmo village is one of the top rated attractions , "must see" famous scenic spots in Huangshan city. It was constructed originally in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It reached its height of prosperity in both the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Upon your arrival there, you will be captivated by the quiet rural life style of this particular culture, and the natural beauty that is incorporated within this famous historic and cultural village. The most worth visiting in the village is the Tanganyuan Garden. It is the replica of the west lake in Hangzhou and was built by a rich man for his mother who couldn’t travel to Hangzhou Mountain. Another popular tourist spot is the Jin Ting which is located in the center of the village. It is a very comfortable site which can be visited all year round. Half day tour will be suggested to visit here.
