Yubeng Village
Classification:

Yubeng Village is located in the Yunling Township of Deqin County, on the southeastern slope of Meili Snow Mountain in Yunnan. Surrounded by mountains, it has a unique geographical environment at an altitude of 3000 meters, and is only connected to the outside world by a single trail. Currently, there are no roads leading to Yubeng; access can be made via two trails from the directions of Xidang and Ninong, with the Xidang trail being more convenient. It requires hiking or riding a mule, with a 12-kilometer uphill trek, a 6-kilometer downhill trek, and crossing a 3700-meter mountain pass. Additionally, Yubeng Village is located at the foot of the Wuzizhong Peak under the Nian Cimother Peak of Meili Snow Mountain, featuring beautiful scenery and simple folk customs, truly a paradise on earth. Yubeng Village is divided into upper and lower villages; the upper village leads to the Sino-Japanese joint climbing base camp for Mount Kawagebo, while the lower village leads to the Yubeng Sacred Waterfall, where one can see the ancient inscriptions and the unique sight of five trees sharing the same root along the way.
