The Three Pagoda of Chongsheng Temple

The Three Pagoda of Chongsheng Temple is located about 1.5 kilometers northwest of Dali Old Town, is situated at the east foot of Yingle Peak of the massive Cangshan Mountain. It was built in the time of Kingdom of Nanzhao in 10th century to be near the Dali Three Pagodas, so people call them "Chongsheng Temple and Three Pagodas". The Three Pagodas are made of one big pagoda and two small pagodas, forming a symmetric triangle. The Three Pagodas are made of brick and covered with white mud. Behind the Three Pagodas, there is a Reflection Pond which got its name from the graceful clear reflections on the water of the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple. The authentic Three Pagodas and the reflections create a fantastic pictures - six pagodas in one scene. Travelers, especially photographers, should never miss this place for some awesome pictures. Usually, 1-2 hours will be suggested to take for visiting.
