Day 1 Beijing Arrival (No meal)
Upon arrival in Beijing, the capital city of China, meet and transfer to your hotel.
3 nights at Novotel Peace Hotel Beijing or similar one
Day 2 Beijing (B/L)
Early start from the hotel and enjoy a whole day tour of the Jinshanling Great Wall, which is a quiet and dramatic section of the wall, a guided walk on the wall and learn more about its history before returning to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (B)
Morning tour of the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City (closed on Monday), rest of the day at leisure. While the Jingshan Park, or the Baihai Park just northwest of the Forbidden City, or one of the Hutongs is highlyrecommnended.
Day 4 Beijing-Xi'an by train (B)
Morning take the high-speed train to Xi'an (appr. 5 hours). On arrival, transferto your hotel，this evening is an excellent opportunity to explore the Muslim Quarter in the city center.
1 night at Grand Noble Hotel Xian or similar one
Day 5 Xi'an-Dunhuang by flight (B/L)
Morning tour of the Terracotta Warriors & Horses, affiliated to the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, who was the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty and the first unifier of entire China. Afternoon flight to Dunhuang (appr.2.5 hours), upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
2 nights at Silk Road Hotel Dunhuang or similar one
Day 6 Dunhuang (B/L)
A full day visit of the key sights around Dunhuang including the Mingsha 'Singing' Sand Dunes, the Mogao Grottoes, the Western Thousand Buddha Caves and the Yumen Pass.
Day 7 Duhuang(Liuyuan)-Turpan by train (B)
Transfer to Liuyuan Station by private vehicle (appr. 2 hours) for a high-speed train (appr. 6 hours) to Turpan, it has been a key point on the Silk Road since ancient times, enjoy a free time upon arrival.
2 nights at Huozhou Hotel Turpan or similar one
Day 8 Turpan (B/L)
Full day tour to explore Turpan, visit the Tuyaq Valley - Nestled within the Tuyaq Valley are several traditional ethnic Uighur villages, the Gaochang Ancient Town - another time-eroded Silk Route garrison town, the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves as well as the Flaming Mountains.
Day 9 Turpan-Urumqi-Kashgar by flight (B/L)
Morning visit the Ruins at Jiaohe, then transfer to Urumqi (appr. 3 hours) in time to take your flight to Kashgar. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.
3 nights at Qinibagh Royal Hotel Kashgar or similar one
Ruins at Jiaohe
Day 10 Kashgar (B/L)
Half day tour of Kashgar’s Sunday Livestock Market (open on Sundayonly), an essential Silk Route experience, also called Yekshemba Bazaar. In the afternoon enjoy the Old Town of Kashgar of some other sights.
Day 11 Kashgar (B/L)
Morning transfer to the Karakul Lake on the legendary Karakoram Highway where people can get stunning views of Mount Muztagata. Here, the altitude of the lake is 3,800m above sea level, please keep warm as there is a sharp drop in temperature.
Day 12 Kashgar/Urumqi-Beijing by flight (B)
Morning transfer to airport for your flight to Beijing via Urumqi, upon arrival in Beijing, meet and transfer to the hotel for an overnight.
1 night at Novotel Peace Hotel Beijing or similar one
Day13 Beijing Departure (B)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to your onward destination.
