The Nine Dragon Waterfall

The Nine Dragon Waterfall is located 22 kilometers northeast of Luoping County, Yunan Province. It consists of 10-tier waterfalls which are compactly grouped in a valley with a length of 4 kilometers and a depth of 200 meters, appears in different shapes, magnificent and beautiful. The biggest waterfall is 110 meters wide and 56 meters high. Each of them represents a dragon, hence the name "nine dragon waterfalls". The biggest waterfall is called Sacred Dragon, the Number One Nine dragon, at the foot of which is an unfathomably deep round pool. Behind the curtain of water lies a cave some 10 meters deep. In the dry season, the elegant waterfall hangs like a sliver chain in the sky. Standing on the belvedere, you can take in the ten cascades at one sight. It could be visited all year round. Every year, it attracts numerous visitors. It takes about 3 hours to finish this trip.
