Lijiang

Lijiang is a prefecture-level city in Yunnan Province, located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, at the junction of the three provinces of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet. It is an internationally renowned tourist city and an important passage of the ancient "Southern Silk Road" and "Tea Horse Road," situated 527 kilometers from Kunming. The total area is 20,600 square kilometers, with a population of 1.285 million. It is home to world cultural and natural heritage, national key scenic spots, and is recognized as a historical and cultural city in China. With a unique geographical location, a long history, rich culture, and simple folk customs, Lijiang has a total of 104 tourist attractions. The representative ones include: two mountains: Yulong Snow Mountain and Laojun Mountain; one city: Lijiang Ancient City; one lake: Lugu Lake Scenic Area; one river: Jinsha River; one culture: Naxi Dongba culture; and one style: Mosuo people's customs.
