Jiaju Tibetan Village

Jiaju Tibetan Village, located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is the most distinctive tourist attraction in Danba. "Jiaju" means a hundred families in Tibetan. The Tibetan village climbs up from the Dajin River Valley to the foot of the Kapama Peaks. The whole village is meandering along the undulating mountains. On the hillside with a relative elevation difference of nearly 1000 meters, Tibetan buildings are scattered among the green trees scarcely or densely concentrated, or on high mountains and cliffs. Clouds emerge behind the mountains from time to time. Together with the spirited valleys, clear streams and snow-capped peaks, pastoral paintings are displayed in front of people's eyes in the form of art.
