Chen's Academy, commonly known as Chen Ancestral Temple, is located in Zhongshan 7th Road, Guangzhou. Chen's Academy was established in the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu and completed in the 20th year. Chen's Academy is the largest, ornate and well preserved traditional Lingnan ancestral hall building in Guangdong. Known as the Pearl of Lingnan architectural art, it focuses on the great achievements of Guangdong folk architectural decoration art, skillfully using wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, gray sculpture, ceramic sculpture, copper iron casting and color painting and other decorative art, is a bright hall of folk decorative art.
