Interior of Deyuelou Restaurant
Deyuelou is one of the most famous restaurants in Suzhou, with a history of several hundred years, dating back to the Ming Dynasty, over 400 years ago. Deyuelou gathers renowned chefs, inheriting Su-style cuisine, focusing on excellence, and emphasizing color, aroma, taste, and presentation, while maintaining the original flavor. It offers more than 300 varieties year-round, with seasonal dishes for spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Signature dishes include: Squirrel Mandarin Fish, Deyue Young Chicken, Xishi Playing with the Moon, Honey Glazed Pork, Cordyceps Duck, Biluohai Shrimp, Date Paste Cake, Su-style Boat Snacks, etc. It is particularly skilled in making boat dishes and snacks passed down from the Ming Dynasty, as well as the first banquet of Wuzhong.
