Day 1 Kunming Arrival (No Meal)
Known as the "Spring City," Kunming boasts some of the best weather in China. Upon arrival, a visit to Yuantong Temple, followed by a stroll in Green Lake Park and Bird & Flower Market.
1 night at Kunming Grand Park Hotel or similar one
Day 2 Kunming-Lijiang (B/L)
Fly to Lijiang (appr. 1 hour), upon arrival, visit the Ancient Town of Shuhe, about 5km away an important part of the Lijiang Ancient Town, listed as World Cultural Sites by the UNESCO in 1997.
2 nights at Shuhe Guesthouse or similar one

Day 3 Lijiang (B/L)
Morning tour of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the highest ski resort in China with an elevation of 4,600 meters above sea level, then continue your trip to the Ancient Town of Lijiang, which is also listed as World Cultural Sites by UNESCO in 1997, afterwards, pay a visit to the Black Dragon Pool.
Day 4 Lijiang-Tiger Leaping Gorge (B/L)
Transfer to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, visit the First Bend of the Yangtze River; start Hiking from Qiaotou to Zhonghutiao (about 4-5 hiking hours). The gorge is regarded as one of the top ten hiking trails in China. Along with the Golden Sand River, the water makes violent whirlpools and hits the banks so powerfully that soaring breakers are created. The highwaves, soaring water, and the mountains shrouded with clouds and mistconstitute the most magnificent scenes of the gorge and attract many brave explorers.
1 night at Hutiaoxia Tea Horse or similar one
Day 5 Tiger Leaping Gorge-Shangri-La (B/L)
After breakfast, continue Walking Tour to Tina's Guest House (about 3-4 hiking hours); this section actually leads from Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge to the end point of the high path hiking, where the Tina's Guest House is located. Hiking gradually becomes a much harder challenge as tourist may need to go down from the cliff to the river bank. Make sure you will leave most of your heavy equipment behind so to free yourself for this task. Afternoon transfer to the hotel in Shangri-La for a through rest.
2 nights at Zhongdian Songzan Green Valley or similar one
Day 6 Shangri-La (B/L)
Morning tour to the Songzanglin Monastery and then visit the Pudacuo National Forest Park the highlight of the park is Shudu Lake, a calm lake surrounded by pastures and forest flowers. It is set at 3,705 metres above sea level and is one of the largest lakes in Diqing Prefecture. Then return to the town and have a Local Tibetan Family Visit.

Day 7 Shangri-La-Deqin (B/L)
Drive to Deqin (about 5 hours), located at the junction of Yunnan, Tibet and Sichuan provinces in the northwest of Yunnan. Upon arrival, visit the Nixi Pottery Village, the East Zhulin Temple, and enjoy a good view of the Big Bend of the Jinsha River on the way to hotel.
1 night at Songzanmeili Hotel or similar one
Day 8 Deqin-Xiayubeng (B/L)
View the Sunrise at Feilai Temple, then drive to Xidang Hot Spring (about 1.5 hour's drive), Hiking from Xidang to Lower Yubeng Village (about 7 hiking hours), Xidang village is the most popular starting point for Yubeng Hiking. Yubeng Village is a local Tibetan village at the foot of the Meili Snow Mountain and is divided into the Lower Yubeng Village and the Upper Yubeng Village. Only one road linking the village to the outside world, so hiking has become the main ways to get to and from it.

Day 9 Xiayubeng-Benzilan (B/L)
After breakfast, start Hiking from Lower Yubeng Village to Ninon, another local Tibetan village (appr. 4 hiking hours), for this section the road condition is good and the scenery is amazing, and the clear Yubeng River flows all the way along with the paths. Ninon Village is located at the junction of the two rivers of Yubeng and Lancanjiang River, the natural beauty of the villages makes an ideal site for hiking. Afterwards, drive to Benzilan (about 3 hours) and transfer to hotel upon arrival.
1 night at Benzilan Hotel Songzan or similar one
Day 10 Benzilan-Shangri-La (B/L)
Drive to the airport at Shangri-La in the morning, then take a flight to Kunming (appr. 1 hour), where continue your onward trip ahead.
