Jingshanling Great Wall

The Jingshanling section of the Great Wall is some 130km northeast of Beijing.It is located between the Luanping County, Chengde City, Hebei Province andMinyun County, Beijing, connects Simatai Great Wall in the east and GubeikouGreat Wall in the west.It is first constructed in Ming Dynasty,and isconsidered one of the most beautiful section of the Great Wall. This section isalso known as the 'Wild Great Wall' - that unlike other popular sections whichhaven been refurbished in recent years, the Jingshanling Great Wall is faraway from the madding crowd, it is quiet, natural and charming, andtherefore, deserve a day exploring it. It usually takes around 4 hours to reachJingshanling from Downtwon Beijing for single way, so the early start will besuggested.
