The Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located in the southern part of theWulingyuan Scenic Area. In 1982, it was recognized as China's first NationalForest Park. It is like a fairy land with the beauty of wild nature. The severalthousand mountain peaks of quartz rise abruptly from the ground. Streamsflow through the Gold Whip Stream Grand Canyon which is flanked by sheercliffs. The park is beautiful all year round, but the best time to visits in latespring and summer from April to August, and in autumn from September toOctober. Zhangjiajie is one of the best summer resorts in China. It is cool andbalmy with refreshing air even in hot weather. To avoid the tourist crowds, youare not encouraged to visit Zhangjiajie in public holidays. Full day tour will besuggested for visiting this National Park.
