The Yuanjiajie Scenic Area

Yuanjiajie located in the northwest part of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park,lies between Huangshi Village (yellow stone stronghold) and TianziMountain(emperor mountain). It is a naturally formed platform mountain,surrounded by higher summits which are divided by deep valleys. Each onestands in the valley and possesses its own peculiar shape. The foremostattractions in this area include: Back Garden, breathtaking Mihun Stage, andthe First Bridge under the Sun. Only two ways lead to the Yuanjiajie ScenicArea. One is from the Golden Whip Stream via Luanchuanpo to the BackGarden; the other is the Bailong Elevator. As one part of Zhangjiajie NationalForest Park, Yuanjiajie is a must visit place when you are in the park,especially the Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar were inspired by Heavenly Pillarin Yuanjiajie, this place is getting more and more reputation. A full day tourwill be suggested for visiting.
