West Street

West Street is also known as Xijie. It is the oldest street in Yangshuo with ahistory of more than 1,400 years. It now becomes a place that mixes theeastern and western culture harmoniously. Building of West Street is in style ofnorth Guangxi in the Ming and Qing dynasties. This less than 1 km of thestreet was planked by the stone bricks and in shape of s-shape. The street isfilled with all kinds of souvenirs, hotel restaurant, café and bar on both sides.Visitors stroll leisurely and lazily in the street, all sorts of young man riding abicycle or carrying a backpack walk through the town to street corners.
