Yuanjiajie is located to the north of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, on the northern slope of Shandao Valley. It is a large and relatively gentle mountain primarily composed of quartzite. Major attractions include the Back Garden, the Bewildering Platform, and the First Bridge Under Heaven. Yuanjiajie covers an area of approximately 1200 hectares, with an average elevation of 1074 meters. It is bordered to the east by Jinbian Stream, with a distant view of Yaozi Village; to the south, it overlooks Huangshizhai, connecting to Tianbofu; to the west, it connects to Tianzi Mountain; and to the north, it is adjacent to Suoxiyu. There are two pathways from the foot of the mountain to Yuanjiajie: one is to walk through the middle section of "Jinbian Stream" up the "Chaotic Slope" to the "Back Garden"; the other is to take the "World's First Elevator"—the Bailong Elevator to Xiaping, which takes only 1 minute and 58 seconds to ascend, making it both easy and safe. Not only is this spectacular elevator project astonishing, but what is even more breathtaking is the moment the elevator rushes out of the shaft, revealing a magical scene before your eyes. The orderly and majestic "Gathering of Divine Soldiers," one of the top ten scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, resembles a well-organized and grand ceremonial team waiting for your "review". Upon reaching the mountain top, stepping out of the station, and looking far into the distance, a fresh and natural pastoral landscape painting emerges, quietly appearing like a mirage. This is the long-awaited "Sky Garden". The tour is primarily on foot, and it is recommended to allocate a full day for the visit.
