Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, abbreviated as Xinjiang, is located in the northwest border of China, with Urumqi as its capital. It is situated in the heart of the Eurasian continent, bordering eight countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Mongolia, India, and Afghanistan. It is one of China's five autonomous regions for ethnic minorities.166The area is 1.66 million square kilometers, with a population of 25 million.2486.47Xinjiang has extremely rich tourism resources.
