The Yadan National Geopark

The Yadan National Geopark, commonly known as Dunhuang Yadan Devil City. It is an important part of the Dunhuang Western Route Tourism Scenic Spot. It is 168 kilometers away from the urban area of Dunhuang and located in the northwest of Yumen Pass. The scenic spot is divided into two areas, about 25 kilometers long from east to west and 13 kilometers wide from north to south. The park covers an area of 346.34 square kilometers, which is mainly a geological relic formed by wind erosion. In December 2001, the Ministry of Land and Resources approved the establishment of "Gansu Dunhuang Yadan National Geopark", which was officially opened and opened to visitors in August 2003. In November 2006, it was rated as AAAA level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration, and has been successively approved as the popular science base of land and resources, the popular science education base of Gansu Province, and the provincial geological relic nature reserve of Gansu Province. Dunhuang yardan national geological park is the location for film and television advertising shooting. It has filmed many film and television advertising works, such as "hero", "legend of tianmai", "sea god", "Septwolves", "female twelve music band MTV scenery film". Yadan National Geopark, with its unique desert scenery, geological wonders of various forms and ancient folklore, has attracted numerous brave explorers to uncover the mysterious veil of "Devil City" and explore the mysteries of nature.
