Day 2 Changsha (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the morning, visit one of China's four great academies,Yuelu Academy, a famous institution of higher learning and a center for academic and cultural activities. Then visit the Aiwan Pavilion; in the afternoon, visit the Hunan Provincial Museum (closed on Mondays), the largest historical art museum in Hunan. Dinner will be enjoyed at Huogongdian, the oldest traditional restaurant in China.

Day 3 Changsha (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Visit Orange Isle Park, famous for producing high-quality oranges; the main attractions in the park include the Poetry Monument, the Orange Pavilion, and a sculpture square. Then stroll along the most popular pedestrian street, Taiping Street; in the afternoon, visit Tianxin Park located in the center of the old city of Changsha, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the entire city, and then visit a local family to learn how to cook local cuisine and have dinner with them.
Transfer to Huaihua Railway Station to take the high-speed train toPhoenix Ancient Town. Established during the Qing Dynasty, it has a history of over 300 years and still retains its original appearance. Visit theHongqiao,East Gate Tower,Shen Congwen's Former Residence,Yang Family Ancestral Hall,Tuojiang River, enjoy a boat ride and appreciate the beautiful scenery on both sides.

Day 5 Phoenix (Breakfast/Lunch)
Near Phoenix Ancient Town, the original appearance of stone streets, stilted buildings, and Miao villages is still preserved. Today we will visit a Miao ethnic minority village—Shanjiang Miao Village, where we will have the opportunity to explore the local market to better understand and fully experience the life and culture of the Miao people.
In the morning, transfer to Zhangjiajie (4-hour drive), visit the Grand Canyon, a natural wonder surrounded by mountains, streams, caves, cliffs, and forests; then visit the Glass Bridge, known as the longest and highest glass bridge in the world, suspended over the valley, offering a magnificent view of the entire Grand Canyon; transfer to a hotel located in the Wulingyuan area. In the evening, enjoy a local barbecue dinner.

Day 7 Zhangjiajie (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Today we will exploreZhangjiajie National Forest Park, first take the cable car to the top ofHuangshizhai, which consists of thousands of quartz sand peaks rising abruptly from the ground. Then we will visit the famousGolden Whip Stream, which is 7.5 kilometers long, winding through the peaks and valleys, named after the stream flowing through Golden Whip Rock. In the evening, enjoy a special Tujia hot pot dinner.

Day 8 Zhangjiajie (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the morning, visit theTianzi Mountain, known as the king of peak forests, which gives a mysterious feeling as if one is in a fairy tale world. After lunch at a local restaurant, visitYuanjiajie, located in the northern part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is the prototype of Hallelujah Mountain in the movie Avatar; the valley is filled with towering peaks; today's visit ends at the Ten-Mile Gallery, where unique peaks and strange rocks line both sides, with a small stream flowing through, creating picturesque scenery, as if crafted by nature.
Day 9 Depart from Zhangjiajie (Breakfast/Lunch)
In the morning, take a boat tour ofBaofeng Lake, a clear and unpolluted alpine lake that attracts tourists from all over the world as well as many lovely animals; then transfer to Zhangjiajie city, take the world's longest cable car toTianmen Mountain, and experience the breathtakingGlass Walkway, after which you will be transferred to the airport for your evening flight back to your warm home.
