Day 1 Changsha Arrival (No meal)

Upon arrival at Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province, meet the local guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel, enjoy a leisure time in the afternoon.

Day 2 Changsha (B/L/D)

Morning visit one of the four best ancient academies in China - the Yuelu Academy, as one of the four most prestigious academies, it is a famous institution of higher learning as well as a center of academic activities and up holding cultures, followed by a visit to the Aiwan Pavilion; afternoon tour of the Hunan Provincial Museum (closed on Monday), the largest historical & art museum in Hunan. Dinner at Fire Palace - the oldest restaurant in China.

Day 3 Changsha (B/L/D)

A visit to the Orange Island Park; it is the place known as the producer of high-quality oranges; the main tourist attractions in the park include the Poem Tablet, the Oranges Pavilion and a square of sculptures; followed by a stroll along the most popular pedestrian street - the Taiping Street; afternoon tour of the Tianxin Pavilion Park, located in the old city tower of Changsha, you can have a panoramic view of the whole city, then followed by a visit to the local family, learn how to cook the local cuisine and join the family for a Dinner.

Day 4 Changsha/Huaihua-Fenghuang by train (B/L/D)

Transfer to Huaihua railway station for a high-speed train to the Fenghuang Ancient Town (appr. 1.5 hours), also named “Phoenix Ancient Town”, built up in Qing Dynasty with a history of 300 years, it is still kept in its original appearance. The tour including visits to the Hongqiao Art Bridge, the East Gate Tower, the Former Residence of the Great Writer - Shen Congwen, and Yang's Family Divine Yard; then take a Boat Tour in Tuojiang River to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river.

Fenghuang Ancient Town

Day 5 Fenghuang (B/L)

Near the Fenghuang Ancient Town, the stone streets, stilted houses, and the Miao ethnic nationality are the typical scenes there. Today you will pay a visitto a Miao Minority Village - the Shanjiang Miao Village, where you will have an opportunity to go around their local Market so to get a better understanding of the life and culture of the local Miao people.

Day 6 Fenghuang-Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)

Morning transfer to Zhangjiajie (appr 4 hours), pay a visit to the Grand Canyon, it is a natural wonderland surrounded by incorporates mountains, streams, caves, cliffs, and forests; then visit the Glass Bridge, honored as the longest and highest glass bridge in the world, hanging over a valley, it provides a superb panorama of the entire grand canyon; afterwards transfer to your hotel in Wulingyuan Area. A local Barbeque Dinner will be arranged in the evening.

Day 7 Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)

Today visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, firstly take the cable car to the top of the Yellow Stone Village, you will see several thousand quartzs and stone peaks rising abruptly from the ground, a very gorgeous site; later, explore the beautiful and famous Golden Whip Brook, it covers a distance of 7.5km winding across mountains and valleys. Everning a very special Tujia Minority Hot Pot Dinner is included.

Day 8 Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)

Morning pay a visit to the Tianzi Mountain, famed as the king of the peak forest, which gives a sense of mystery as if in a fairy land; after lunch in a local restaurant, continue your tour to Yuanjiajie, situated in the north of Zhangjaijie National Forest Park, it has the prototype of the Hallelujah Mountain in the film Avatar; here a multitude of peaks arise from the deep valley, making their appearance all of a sudden; then today’s tour ends with a visit to the Ten-Mile Gallery, with a stream flowing through, and the peakson both sides of the valley shape many natural sculptures.

Day 9 Zhangjiajie Departure (B/L)

Morning take a boat ride on the Baofeng Lake, the water of the Lake is absolutely clean and without pollutions as it is an alpine lake, and it not only attracts the tourists all over the world but also the natural lovely animals; after the visit transfer to Zhangjiajie city and take the world’s longest cable car to the Tianmen Mountain to experience the breathtaking Glass Skywalk before transferring to airport for an evening flight to your onward destination.
