The Kaili National Museum is located on Shaoshan South Road in Kaili City, Qiandongnan, Guizhou Province. It covers an area of 11,000 square meters, with a building area of over 7,000 square meters. The museum has a magnificent and grand appearance, integrating the architectural art styles of the Miao and Dong ethnic groups. It is a landmark building in the urban area of Kaili City and serves as a center for the collection, protection, research, and display of ethnic culture in Qiandongnan Prefecture. The museum provides a detailed introduction to the cultural geography and ethnic customs of Qiandongnan Prefecture, with exhibits of texts, images, and physical objects. It houses ethnic costumes and some ancestral worship and daily utensils from the Miao and Dong ethnic groups from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The entire museum consists of themed halls such as the "Overview of Qiandongnan Hall," "Ethnic Customs Hall," "Ethnic Costumes Hall," "Dragon Boat Hall," and "Modern Folk Arts and Crafts Museum." Notable exhibits include the "Ethnic Customs Hall" and the "Dragon Boat Hall." The recommended visiting time is 2-3 hours.
