The Hui Cuisine Museum

The Hui Cuisine Museum is located in Huangshan City. It adjacent to the Huangsha Exhibition Hall, with a land area of more than 20,000 square meters. The museum consists of four floors and six exhibition areas. The exhibition contents include the origin and development of Hui cuisine, the characteristics of Hui cuisine, the variety of Hui cuisine, the famous dishes, shops and chefs, and the innovation and future of Hui cuisine. One of the eight major Chinese styles of cooking, Hui cuisine doesn't - as many people mistakenly think - refer to Anhui Province dishes but food from Huizhou. Originating from the mountains of present-day Anhui Province, Hui cuisine is renowned for fresh, natural ingredients, delicately cooked. In this museum, you can not only experience the development history of Hui cuisine, but also appreciate the unique charm of Huizhou, taste the attractive dishes, and practice for cooking. The visiting is recommended to be around 2 hours.
