Yading Village is known as the "Last Shangri-La". Located at an altitude of 3900 meters, the village consists of 2 villager groups, with a total of 28 households and 183 people. In Tibetan, Yading means "sunny place", named for its long hours of sunlight. Yading Village is situated in a canyon where two streams converge at Longlongba. The village is on a plateau in the mountains, and the appearance of such a plateau in the canyon gives a feeling of being in another world. Surrounded by rolling, desolate mountains, the outlines of the peaks are dark and bright against the blue sky. At the end of the valley, the majestic XianNaiRi snow peak basks in the sunlight without reservation, simple yet steep, like a sketch drawn with a few strokes. However, the height, width, and texture of the peak are dark and steep, magnificent yet serene, far beyond what words can describe.
