The Puzhehei Yi Village

The Puzhehei Yi Village is located in Qiubei County, Wenshan in Southeast Yunnan, 280 kilometers from Kunming. Puzhehei takes on Karst geological features and covers a total area of 165 square kilometers. It was noted for the world- rare and domestic- unique karst landscape and pastoral scenery since 1993. The small Yi villages side by side along the shoreline of Puzhehei Lake, and it is surrounded by mountain peaks. When you come here, those enchanting natural sceneries will enter into your eyes and make you feel like being surrounded in the blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and the crystal-clear river. Puzhehei means the lake with many fishes and shrimps in the language of the Yi people. The water of the lake is limpid, people could even see the bed of the lake. It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. It takes about 2-3 hours for visiting.
