Day 1 Chengdu Arrival (D)

Welcome by your guide and transfer to the city. Chengdu is famous for its spicy food, in the evening you will try a local delicacy of Mapo Doufu, a traditional spicy Sichuan Dish.

Day 2 Chengdu (B/L)

Tour start with the Sanxingdui Museum, containing rich and precious cultural heritage of mankind with historical and scientific value, was considered to be the most attractive relics in China; then return to the city for a walking tour in the People's Park with a Cup of Tea included.

Day 3 Chengdu–Danba (altitude 1800m) (B/L)

Transfer to Danba (appr. 6 hours), upon arrival, stay in one of the most particular and typical dewlings in Jiaju Tibetan Village that mixes the culture and tradition of Tibet and Qiang minorities, then explore the village by walking through the paved passage ways or along the Dajin River.

Day 4 Danba-Tagong (altitude 3800m) (B/L/D)

Today visit the Suopo Village to see Qiang minority watch towers, then continue the journey to Tagong (appr. 3 hours), en-route stop for a picnic in the prairies if weather permits; upon arrival, enjoy a dinner in the Khampa Café & Art Centre that serves traditional local food.

2 nights in Jya Drolma & Gyala’s Guesthouse or similar one

Day 5 Tagong-Litang (altitude 4010m) (B/L/D)

Breakfast on the terrace of the Khampa Café & Art Centre, which offers a perfect view of both the monastery and the main square of the town, then start today's tour to Tagong Monastery, after that head for Litang in late afternoon and have a dinner in a Tibetan Restaurant.

Day 6 Litang (B/L)

Morning visit to the splendid Chode Gompa Monastery, part of the Yellow Hat Sect (Gelupa), the most recently founded of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism and the origin of the institution of the Dalai Lama; journey on to the Litang Hot Springs for some relaxation.

Note: Litang is one of the highest cities in the word and the altitude can cause some trouble to people who haven't prepared. It is therefore imperative that you consult with a doctor before your trip, and to check that you are capable of adapting to this kind of environment.

1 night at Nomad’s Tent - Local Residence

Day 7 Litang-Yading (altitude 4000m-5000m) (B/L)

Morning departure for Yading National Park (appr. 6hours), it is an integral part of one's trip and of amazing sceneray on the way to Yading, and really a great attraction; transfer to the hotel with a bit of luck you may watch an unforgettable sunset over Mount Chenresig.

Day 8 Yading-Hot Springs Inn (B/L)

Today transfer to the Luorong Prairie, where you can take an opportunity to enjoy a picnic in the lake area if weather permits; departure for the Hot Springs Inn, a small, modest, but charming hotel, upon arrival, relax in the natural fresh water pool or in an individual bath.

Day 9 Hot Springs Inn-Xiangcheng-Zhongdian (altitude 3200m) (B/L)

Today's journey will be made principally along the road which connects Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, you will pass through some spectacul mountainous in the countryside where a few of traditional villages can be found in pleasantly pastoral settings.

1 night in Barly Villa Zhongdian or similar one

Day 10 Zhongdian-Kunming Departure (B)

Transfer to airport for a flight to your onward destination via Kunming.
