Day 1 Lanzhou Arrival (No Meal)
Meet at the airport and transfer to the city, visit the biggest comprehensive museum of Gansu province - the Gansu Provincial Museum (closed on Monday), and enjoy the beautiful view of the Yellow River Scenic Spots before transferring to the hotel.
2 nights at Lanzhou Sunshine Hotel or similar one
Day 2 Lanzhou-Liujiaxia-Lanzhou (B/L)
Transfer to the Liujiaxia Reservoir (appr. 2.5 hours), and take a speed boat to Bingling Grottoes (appr. 1 hour), which is the seond to the Mogao Grottoes of Dunhuang, getting its fame from skilled countless stone carvings, statues and relievo pagodas which are rarely seen in China.
Day 3 Lanzhou-Tianshui by train (B/L)
Morning train to Tianshui (appr. 2 hours), pay a visit to the Fuxi Temple, the Nanguo Temple and the famous Maijishan Grottoes, it has acquired the world special recognition due to its exquisite clay statuesand superb sculptural skills; then transfer to the hotel.

Day 4 Tianshui-Zhangye by train (B/D)
Morning train to Zhangye (appr. 5.5 hours), visit the Giant Buddha Temple, with a history of over 900 years and the largest indoor sleeping clay Buddha, it is a good place to admire delicate painting sculpture, ancient buildings and religious art; afterwards transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 Zhangye (B/L)
Today visit the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park, well-known as one of the Top 10 Geographical Wonders of the World, with the unusual shapes and gorgeous colors, you will not only enjoy the beauty of the Rainbow Mountain, but the Binggou Danxia Landform.
Day 6 Zhangye-Jiayuguan by train (B/L)
Morning take train to Jiayuguan (appr. 2 hours), upon arrival, visit the Jiayuguan Pass, built with rammed earth, making yellow its dominant hue and helping the Pass blend harmoniously with the surrounding desert; enjoy a tour of the Hanging Great Wall and a free time then.

Day 7 Jiayuguan-Dunhuang (B/L)
Morning transfer to Dunhuang (appr. 4 hours), upon arrival, on the way to your hotel and enjoy a visit to the Yulin Grottoes, a brunch of the Dunhuang art complex with another name Ten-Thousand-Buddha Valley, a beautiful frontier scenery is showed here.

Day 8 Dunhuang (B/L)
Morning visit the Mogao Grottoes, regarded as the largest Buddhist cave with the most abundant cultural relics in the world, it is well known for a great number of colorful murals and a variety of vivid statues; afternoon visit the Mingsha Sand Dunes and Crescent Lake，it is a popular attraction in Dunhuang to explore stunning desert scenery and to take part in exciting sand dunes activities, such as a Camel Ride to admire the nearby environment.
Day 9 Dunhuang (Liuyuan)-Turpan by train (B)
Morning transfer to the Liuyuan Railway Station (appr, 2 hours), then take a high-speed train (appr. 6 hours) to Turpan which is laying at the junction of the east and the west of China, it has been a key point on the Silk Road since ancient times, upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 10 Turpan (B/L)
Full day tour to explore Turpan, morning visit the Tuyoq Valley, inhabited in the Tuyaq Valley are several ethnic Uighur villages; the Ancient City of Gaochang, glittering like a resplendent and brilliant precious stone inlaid in the barren desert and shining on the Silk Road; then a visit to the Bezeklik Caves, also known as the Bizaklik Thousand-Buddha Caves, islocated in a gorgeous valley of the Flaming Mountains.
Morning visit the Ruins at Jiaohe City, large ancient ruined city in Xinjiang and one of the best preserved cities of its time in ancient China, you can see a ruined tower and one of China’s oldest and best Buddhist stupas here; then transfer to Urumqi (appr. 3 hours) in time to take your flight to Kashgar, a city with many ethnic groups interacting and influencing each other, which forms the unique ethnic lifestyle of Kashgar.

Day 12 Kashgar (B/L)
Half day visit Kashgar’s Sunday Livestock Market, an essential Silk Route experience; In ancient times Kashagr’s bazaar was one of Asia's largest distributing center of commodities, and the livestock market took place once a week on Sunday. The day begins with Uyghur farmers and herders trekking into the city from nearby villages. Now it opens every day, but the busiest market still on Sunday. In the afternoon you'll have a city tour to some other nearby sights.
Day 13 Kashgar (B/L)
Morning transfer to the Karakul Lake on the legendary Karakoram Highway where you get stunning views of the Mount Muztagata. Surrounded by mountains with snow-covered peaks throughout the year, the lake is famous for its fantastic scenery and the clarity of its reflection in the water. As lake's altitude is 3,800m, you'll notice a sharp drop in temperature here, so please bring enough clothes to keep warm.
Day 14 Kashgar/Urumqi-Beijing by flight (B/L)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing via Urumqi, upon arrival, transfer to your centrally located hotel in Beijing.
1 night at Novotel Peace Hotel Beijing or similar one
Day 15 Beijing Departure (B)
Transfer to airport for a flight to your onward destination.
