Day 1 Kunming Arrival (No Meal)

Transfer to the city, known as the "Spring City", Kunming boasts some of the best weather in China; upon arrival, visit the Yuantong Temple, the Green Lake Park and Brid & Flower Market before transferring to the hotel.

2 nights at Sofitel Hotel Kunming or similar one

Day 2 Kunming (B/L/D)

Morning tour of the Stone Forest, which has been the only Karst Landform scenic spot in the world; followed by a visit to the Minority Village before transferring back to the city.

Day 3 Kunming-Dali (B/L/D)

Morning flight to Dali (appr. 1 hour), visit the Three Pagodas Temple, the three-pagoda is a world-renowned scene, serving as the symbol of Dali, and even the symbol of Yunnan; then enjoy a Cruise on the Erhai Lake and a stroll in the Old Town of Dali upon arrival.

1 night at Dali Gurong Hotel or similar one

Day 4 Dali-Lijiang (B/L/D)

Morning transfer to Lijiang (appr. 4 hours), en-route pay a visit to the Bai Minority Village in a nearby town named Xizhou, enjoy their traditional Performance of Three-Course Tea, then continue your trip to Lijiang and transfer to the hotel for a rest.

3 nights at LUX* Lijiang or similar one

Day 5 Lijiang (B/L/D)

Half day tour of the beautiful Black Dragon Pool, and the Palace of Family Mu - the residence of ancient ruler of Lijiang; afternoon enjoy a free time to explore the Ancient Town of Dayan - the old name of Lijiang.

Day 6 Lijiang (B/L)

Morning tour of the Yak Meadow of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is well-known for its snowy peaks and wonderful views, then visit the Yufeng Monastery and the Baisha Mural.

Day 7 Lijang-Shangri-La (B/L)

Morning transfer to Shangri-La (appr. 4-4.5 hours), en-route visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the longest, deepest, and narrowest gorge in the world, and the First Bend of the Yangtze River before your journey to Shangri-La.

2 nights at Songtsam Retreat Shangri-La or similar one

Day 8 Shangri-La (B/L)

Tour of the Songzanglin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Yunnan honored as the Little Potala Palace, the Pudacuo National Park, and have a Local Tibetan Family Visit on the way back to the town.
